I believe that the benefits of BIM are that you can see all the systems and designs together before the building is built. In addition, BIM allows the architect to be able to design more complex buildings. Also, it lets the architect incorporate more sustainable aspects into the design. It allows you to see it the structure and the systems work together well before beginning of construction.
